The Handsome Serial Killer

Image
TED BUNDY Ted Bundy is one of the most well-known serial killers in American history.  He   kidnapped, raped, and  murdered numerous young women and girls during the 1970s and possibly earlier.   Ted Bundy was a very dangerous man that made history through his absolute cruelty. Bundy’s personality is certainly crucial in understanding his behavior. Bundy was regarded as handsome and charismatic, traits that he exploited to win the trust of victims and society. He would typically approach his victims in public places, feigning injury or disability, before knocking them unconscious and taking them to secluded locations to rape and strangle them.  He was truly a monster. It is fascinatingly horrid how someone’s mind may work like that. And, how someone who seems so sincere at first could turn out to be something like Ted Bundy .  He was  a sadistic  sociopath  who took pleasure from another human's pain and the control he had over his vic...

The bloody tyrannical Affair

-By Muqaddas Fatima https://muqadasfatima315.wixsite.com/website-1/post/character-sketch-non-fiction   The sound of the drum beating pounded in his ears. His blurry vision could hardly make out the source of the commotion but soon realized that it was the shaman casting out the evil spirits. Suddenly a stinging smell of blood and raw meat burned the insides of his nostrils. As soon as he turned his face, what he saw was beyond his imagination. It was Genghis khan, the ruthless and vicious emperor and founder of the Mongolian Empire. Who would have known to be blood thirsty and tyrannical ruler for centuries? Tyranny reflected in his eyes. Even his eyes seemed like reptilian slits. His face was cold as ice as if the warmth of the sun had never reached it. While he stared into his soul, Genghis tore raw meat with his abnormally large canines. Blood oozing from it and eventually smeared all over his face. It became obvious, how ruthless the entire empire was. They had no regard for t...

The end of the country

Image
-By Haniah Fazal  https://haniahfazal66.wixsite.com/my-site/post/the-fascist   The door swung open accompanied with the sound of the squeaking hinges. Modi’s facial muscle contorted in a way that displayed displeasure. He raised his head to look at his secretary, only to give him a death stare that would prove his dominance. Narendra Modi was indeed dictator disguised as a democrat. He moved his way up the ladder through fascist policies and religious fanaticism. Modi talked with a tone of dominance in his voice. He absolutely resented anyone opposing his policies. He made sure to crush any and all forms of opposition. A staunch believer of One-man army, his methods worked liked this only. “Sir, the media is going on about the Gujrat massacre!” said his secretary in a hushed voice. A wide grin came across his face. A grin so wide that it touched the side of his eyes. “My child, they deserved it. The Hindus are the superior race.” Said Modi followered by an evil snicker. Somet...

The Dumbest Master Mind

Image
-By Hania Alvi https://alvihania.wixsite.com/website/post/character-sketch-by-action-non-fiction On a cloudy evening in London, England; Mr. Nawaz Shareef, our former prime minister, or should I say ‘a convicted criminal’ gets up from bed. He peeks out from his apartment window; the apartment bought from corruption money of course. His belly sticks out like a pregnant woman because he only knows two things, cheating and eating. He goes inside the bathroom to freshen up bit only to scare himself by looking in the mirror. ‘Is that an ogre!? he exclaimed. 'Oh wait, that’s me.’ he sighs. Well, a little disappointed but stubborn Nawaz washes his face and leaves. He then picks up his phone and calls his dear brother, (another criminal I must mention) Shahbaz. They discuss Pakistani politics and ways to sabotage the country’s newly formed government. Since Nawaz shareef got exposed in a number of corruption cases, he got disqualified from the position of Prime minister. His ego and pride ...

What happened to Robert?

Image
Credits: Sara Zin When Sarah looked at Robert his face had turned pale and his eyes were red with dark bags under them. It seemed as if he hadn’t had even a minute worth of sleep. With hair pointing in every direction, he was in the same clothes that he had worn the last time she saw him, 3 days ago. Those Khaki shorts and the white shirt were now covered in crinkles and and the white was now a mixture of white and dust brown with the collars and sleeves rimmed yellow in what seemed to be sweat lines. He almost seemed unrecognizable to her. She tried to talk to him and ask what had happened but he would choke on his words and sound as if dust had dried his throat out. He brought is hand up to his throat as if that would relieve the discomfort, she saw that his hands were roughed up as well and there was black lining his nails.

Fair Life

Image
-By Adeena Khan https://adeenak.wixsite.com/justmythoughtsandi/post/fair-life There used to be a young boy who was very lazy and did not do anything. Everything was done for him by his parents. As he was the only child, he was loved and cared for to the extent that he was unable to do everything on his own. One day, his parents face an accident and they pass away, leaving the boy all alone. As he cannot do anything on his own he struggles with everything. He gradually learns how to cook, clean, and perform homely chores with the help of the internet as none of his relatives were there to help him. He keeps learning every day, his motivation never-ending. To the point that after some years, he was able to cook and take care of the house on his own with no issues. He then steps out of the house alone for the first time, looking for work as he had little to no money left that his parent saved up for him. After getting scammed, treated harshly, and facing a lot of issues, he finally ...

-By Taimur Nadeem https://taimurblogs.wordpress.com/2021/04/26/character-sketch-by-actions-fiction / Most professional football players, especially those playing in one of the big five European football leagues, earn salaries that range from “good” to “incredible.” Muhammad, Egyptian winger for English Premier League football club Liverpool, is no exception – but what is an exception could be his approach to spending the money he earns. That he was different from a stereotypical football player first came to light when the paparazzi noticed his phone’s screen was cracked and asked him about it. Born in an underdeveloped village of Egypt, Muhmmad had a dream of being a professional footballer one day. His family wasn’t that well off, being from a lower class family his family found it hard to meets ends every month. Muhammad didn’t have shoes to play football in and he used to go and play bare foot just to follow his dreams. Tall, muscular, long afro hair, Muhammad looked like a pharaoh...

The Woodcutter and the Axe

Image
Long ago, there lived a woodcutter in a small village.  He was sincere in his work and very honest.  Every day, he set out into the nearby forest to cut trees. He would bring the woods back into the village and sell them out to a merchant to earn his money. He earned just about enough to make a living, and was satisfied with his simple living. One day, while cutting a tree near a river, his axe slipped out of his hand and fell into the river. The river was so deep, he could not even think to retrieve it on his own. He only had one axe which was gone into the river. He became a very worried thinking how he will be able to earn his living now!  He was very sad and prayed to the Goddess. He prayed sincerely so the Goddess appeared in front of him and asked, “What is the problem, my son?” The woodcutter explained the problem and requested the Goddess to get his axe back. The Goddess put her hand deep into the river and took out a silver axe and asked, “Is this your ...

The Rewarded Thief

Image
One day a boy was walking down the streets with a bag on his shoulders, he walked into a grocery store and pretended to browse around. When he got to the backside he immediately grabbed as many edibles he could and stuffed them in his bag and walked out of the store. One week later he came to the same store and repeated his actions again and once again did not get caught. He did this two more times but when he visited the store the fifth time with the same intentions something changed in his heart so instead of stuffing his bag and stealing, he went up to the cashier to confess. There was a change of heart in this boy, what made him to do? Maybe it was the guilt that was eating him up every time he performed this act. Maybe there was a voice chanting in his head, his conscious was calling to him repeating the words “thief” over and over.   He went up to the ...

One day, as he was walking, he started feeling low and weak. Ahmed was starving, so he decided to ask for food when he came to the next door. Ahmed asked for food but was denied every time, until he reached the door of a girl name Dania. He asked for a glass of water, but seeing his poor state, Dania came back with a glass of milk. Ahmed asked how much he owed her for the milk, but she refused payment. Years later, Dania, who was now a grown woman, fell sick. She went from doctor to doctor, but no one was able to cure her. Finally, she went to the best doctor in town. The doctor spent months treating her until she was finally cured. Despite her happiness, she was afraid she couldn’t afford to pay the bill. But, when the hospital handed her the bill, it re...

The crow eventually found a pot with water in it after much searching. The crow was overjoyed. But when he inserted its beak into the pot, he couldn’t reach the water. There was only a small amount of water at the bottom. After some thought, the crow had a brilliant idea. The clever crow picked up pebbles and dropped them into the pot one by one. The water inside the pot began to rise and rise until he could finally drink it. The crow happily drank the water and flew away. Once upon a time, there was a poor woodcutter who worked diligently every day in the mountains, chopping wood and selling them in the market. It was a ridiculously difficult task that kept him awake from dawn to dusk, but it wasn’t enough to feed his family. When he went to a craftsman’s shop to sell the wood, he n...
